GAMETRAK: REAL WORLD GOLF

Format: PS2, PC Publisher: In2Games Developer: In-house Price: pounds 29.99 (Gametrak sold separately, pounds 19.99)

Playing EA's Tiger Woods while sitting on the sofa is never really going improve your real-life swing. Real World Golf, however, may actually do something to help. The second title to be launched that uses the Gametrak's movement-sensitive technology, Real World Golf hooks players up by their wrists to the Gametrak and gives them a little plastic club to play with. Like golf in the real world, this game is not easy. Dedication and practice improve your style and, as you progress, fiendish mini-games pop up to test you further. As golf games go, this is the closest most mere mortals will get to having a lesson from the great Mr Woods himself. Excellent stuff. HHHH

RIDGE RACER

Format: PSP Publisher: Sony Developer: Namco Price: pounds 34.99

Bravo if you've managed to buy a PSP in the last two days. Welcome to PS2 quality gaming in your pocket. Now it's time to work out what titles are going to eat up your free time and cash. One thing is certain: Ridge Racer is a great starting point. Ridge Racer has had almost as many incarnations as Madonna in its decade-long history but, despite its retro roots, it still offers gamers drift- racing at its finest. Graphics are smooth and not distracting, sound is good and gameplay is refreshingly simple. Forget modding your motor; just stick to the high-speed cornering and straightforward racing. Ridge Racer is an old friend from the arcade that is set to be your new best friend on the PSP. HHHH

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION

Format: PS2, Xbox, GC Publisher: Vivendi Developer: Radical Price: pounds 34.99-pounds 39.99

Players face an orgy of destruction (in a good way) in Vivendi's smash-happy new Hulk title. Ultimate Destruction mixes open-ended gameplay, crazy moves and an environment that the Hulk can interact with (and make huge weapons with, eg cars as boxing gloves). There are hundreds of killer moves to master, plus a stream of foes to destroy as you make your way through the game's missions. The only weak point is the pedestrian graphics. Visuals aside, though, Ultimate Destruction will make you feel invincible. HHHH

ZOOO

Format: DS Publisher: Nintendo Developer: Ignition Price: pounds 29.99

Addictive in the way only a Nintendo puzzle game can be, Zooo is deceptively simple and very difficult to put down. Each level starts with a grid that fills with animal tiles, and players have to shift the critters to make lines of three. These tiles disappear and more fall from above to take their place. It's not rocket science, but it is almost impossible to break away from playing Zooo at every waking hour. As well as standard high score levels, players can try to beat the clock or win quizzes hosted by various beasts. Whether you play on the GBA or the DS, this is a must for puzzle freaks with idle thumbs. HHHHH

4PSP SOUNDSYSTEM

Format: PSP Publisher: Logic3 Developer: In-house Price: pounds 49.99

Although the PSP has only been on sale in the UK for two days, there is a heady mix of peripherals to go with Sony's new arrival. Logic3's Sound System mixes a docking station with speakers. Mimicking the curves of its cargo, the Sound Station has two 2.1 subwoofer speakers and a 3D surround-sound processor. The Sound Station charges your PSP while you listen to tunes. It's a slick piece of kit, though it makes access to some of the PSP's buttons difficult. The Sound System won't enhance the game-playing experience, but it turns the PSP into a nifty multimedia midget. HHH
